Recycling the same products which weren't really funny in the slightest is the most glaring issue, it shows that it wasn't something they cared about. FN had none of what made the game great, had it been packed with jokes and small details, I wouldn't be arguing but it wasn't.
My take going in was I'd get a new chapter to play and what I got is something that is a single playthrough and that's it, I don't see myself ever playing that DLC again as it's got no replayability.Įvery other level has a size to it but that's not the most contributing factor, it's the visual jokes and great comedic writing. Saying people were expecting six hours of content is a hyperbolic statement and you know that. If anything I hope the DLC is a means for support of a sequel or successor to Jazzpunk.Įither people are going to just enjoy and accept it for what it is or feel like they deserve at least six hours of jam packed gameplay for £2.
The reason why I get that some people feeling like they're getting a bit short changed is that there is a fair amount of repetition and it is pretty short. Firstly it's cheap, secondly there are things to do and explore and thirdly it is new content and a new means to support the team. I feel like there's some things that need to be taken into consideration. Jazzpunk spent 7 years in development and this content was created in a much shorter time frame. The paid for DLC is entirely new content, it wasn't bad and I get that some people feel like they're getting a bit short changed. They've also spent time porting and updating the game, they have also given us additional content for free.
